What I do

The right engagement for where you are

🎯

Fractional CMO

Embedded senior marketing leadership on a part-time basis. I own strategy, manage teams, report at the executive level, and stay accountable to revenue. All the depth of a CMO without the permanent overhead.

⚙️

Revenue Operations

Aligning marketing, sales, and customer success around shared pipeline data, process, and accountability. CRM strategy, HubSpot and Salesforce implementation, and the operating model that makes revenue visible and predictable.

🗺️

Go-to-Market Strategy

Connecting your product, positioning, channels, and sales motion into an integrated plan with real pipeline output. Built for mid-market and enterprise environments where GTM complexity requires executive-level coordination.

📣

Demand Generation & Field Marketing

Building and running the programs that create consistent, qualified pipeline: digital, events, field marketing, and account-based motions. Designed around the full customer journey, not just top-of-funnel awareness.

🔗

CRM & Marketing Operations

HubSpot and Salesforce strategy, implementation, cleanup, and optimization. Turning your CRM from a data graveyard into the source of truth your pipeline decisions depend on.

📐

Brand & Messaging Strategy

Building the commercial narrative that makes your company legible to buyers at scale. Positioning, messaging architecture, and the brand system that makes every channel more effective: digital, field, and sales.

Who I work with

Mid-market and enterprise B2B companies at an inflection point.

The organizations I work with are typically navigating one of these moments when we first connect.

Marketing and sales aren't aligned

Two teams, two dashboards, one finger pointed at the other. No shared pipeline definition, no shared metrics, no accountability when the number is missed.

You need CMO-level leadership now

A full-time CMO hire is a 6-month search and a significant commitment. You need senior marketing leadership in the business today, not next quarter.

Your CRM is a liability, not an asset

Duplicate records, no pipeline hygiene, processes nobody follows. Your revenue data doesn't reflect reality, so your decisions don't either.

Demand gen isn't generating demand

Events, campaigns, and programs are running, but pipeline is unpredictable and attribution is murky. You're spending on activity, not outcomes.

You've entered a new market or segment

A new product line, a new buyer, or a new geography requires a purpose-built go-to-market motion, not a copy of what worked before.

Growth has outpaced your marketing infrastructure

New funding, new leadership, or rapid headcount growth means the marketing systems that got you here won't get you to the next stage.

Background

20 years. In-house and agency side. Industries that don't tolerate vague.

The through-line across two decades isn't an industry. It's complexity. Levi has led marketing from inside large, operationally demanding organizations and from the outside as a strategic operator, across sectors where the buying cycle is long, the stakeholders are many, and marketing is expected to move revenue, not just metrics.

His in-house experience spans some of the most demanding B2B environments in the market. At Bell Helicopter (Bell Textron), he built and led the creative and brand function for one of the most recognized names in aerospace and defense, marketing to commercial, military, and government buyers in a regulated, high-stakes sales environment. At Golfbreaks, the world's leading golf travel brand, he ran the North American marketing operation end-to-end: strategy, brand, demand generation, digital performance, events, and field marketing. At FLIR Systems, he developed deep familiarity with the sales cycles and buyer sophistication that define technology and defense marketing.

On the agency and advisory side, he has worked with organizations including Smith & Nephew and PLT Health, alongside clients across healthcare, manufacturing, technology, pharmaceutical, ecommerce, travel, and retail. This gives him the cross-sector pattern recognition that in-house roles alone don't build. He knows what good GTM looks like across categories, what breaks at each stage of scale, and how to build the systems that hold.

RevOtter is where that experience becomes available to mid-market and enterprise B2B companies that need a senior operator, not a generalist consultant, embedded in the business at the moment it matters most.

How I work

In the work from week one. Accountable to the number, not the deck.

I operate as an embedded executive. Not an outside consultant who hands off a strategy and disappears. Here's what that looks like in practice.

01

Start with a real diagnostic

Every engagement opens with a structured audit of your marketing infrastructure, CRM, pipeline data, and go-to-market motion. Recommendations are built on what's actually true in the business, not assumptions or frameworks from another industry.

02

Strategy that becomes operating rhythm

A GTM strategy only works if it generates week-to-week accountability. I build shared metrics, clear ownership, and a cadence that keeps marketing, sales, and leadership aligned, so the plan doesn't sit in a slide deck.

03

Execution alongside leadership

I run programs, manage vendors, coach teams, and build the CRM and RevOps infrastructure that makes the strategy operational. Senior thinking combined with hands-on delivery, from demand generation through field marketing and attribution.

04

Engagement models that match where you are

Fractional CMO retainers, project-based engagements, and executive advisory, structured around what your stage and situation actually require. I work with a focused number of clients at a time to maintain the depth each engagement deserves.

Common questions

What people ask before reaching out

What exactly does a fractional CMO do?

A fractional CMO is a senior marketing executive who works with your company on a part-time or embedded basis, taking on the full strategic and operational scope of a CMO without the cost or commitment of a permanent hire. In practice, that means owning the marketing strategy, leading the team, aligning with sales and leadership, running programs, and staying accountable to pipeline and revenue outcomes.

What size companies do you work with?

Mid-market and enterprise B2B companies, typically organizations with established sales teams and marketing infrastructure that need to scale, restructure, or redirect. The common thread is complexity: multi-stakeholder sales cycles, distributed teams, and marketing that needs to be commercially accountable, not just active.

Do you work with companies outside Philadelphia and New York?

Yes. I'm based in Philadelphia and work primarily with companies in the Philadelphia and New York metro areas, but I'm structured to embed remotely with companies across the US. Most fractional CMO work is hybrid by nature: some on-site presence for key moments, strong remote operating rhythm in between.

What's the difference between a fractional CMO and a marketing consultant?

A consultant typically delivers a strategy, a report, or a recommendation and exits. A fractional CMO stays in the work, owning execution, managing teams, reporting at the executive level, and accountable to the same revenue outcomes a full-time CMO would be. The difference is accountability and depth of integration, not just seniority.

Do you also handle HubSpot and Salesforce work directly?

Yes. CRM strategy, implementation, cleanup, and optimization (including HubSpot and Salesforce) is a core part of what RevOtter delivers. Revenue operations only works if the underlying CRM infrastructure is sound. I treat CRM as a strategic system, not a technology project.
